Capacity planning settings

To use the capacity planning tools in the ALITEO application, specific licensing conditions corresponding to your plan must be met:

• Enterprise Plan: These features are part of the standard equipment and are fully available to users.

• Premium Plan: Capacity planning is available as an optional add-on that must be purchased for the license.

• Basic Plan: This license does not allow the use or additional purchase of these extended features.

Capacity Planning Manager

Within the project and team settings, there is a specialized role called "Capacity Planning Manager". This role allows for the designation of a specific person responsible for efficient resource utilization, workload monitoring, and ensuring tasks progress smoothly without unnecessary downtime.

Rules for the Capacity Planning Manager Role

The management and visibility of this role follow the system's development logic:

• Conditional Visibility: The field for selecting a manager will only appear in the settings if the capacity planning function is enabled for the given project or team.

• Selection Restriction: Only users who are already members of the specific project or team can be selected for this role.

• Automatic Clearing: If the planning function is disabled in the settings, the manager field will be automatically cleared.

• Flexibility: Assigning a user to this role is not mandatory, and the manager can be manually removed at any time.
