Projects overview

ALITEO offers three different views for project management:

  • List - Projects are displayed as preview cards.
  • Gantt - Projects are displayed on a timeline.
  • Planning - Projects and their tasks are visualized on the timeline.

List

In the List view, individual projects are presented as preview cards, each containing basic information:

  • Logo
  • Navigation - Provides detailed information about where the project was created (company, workspace).
  • Project name
  • Users - Two groups of users are listed here:
    • Project Administrators - Located to the left of the vertical, gray dividing line.
    • Project Members - Located to the right of the vertical, gray dividing line.
  • Project Information - Displays the current status and details of the project:
    • Active Tasks - Tasks that are not archived, closed, or canceled.
    • Tasks to Respond - Tasks waiting for a project response.
    • SLA - Information about whether there is an active SLA on the project.
    • Chat - A button to open the project chat.

Gantt

The Gantt view allows you to visualize projects as they are scheduled over time, i.e. by their start date and completion date.

If a project does not have defined dates, you can set them by clicking into the schedule. You can then use drag and drop to move projects in time, or edit individual dates by grabbing the start or end of the displayed rectangle.

In the top right corner of both the List and Gantt views, additional tools are available to customize the project overview view:

  • Search - Search window for full-text search in project title or description.
  • Sorting - Use this option to sort projects by:
    • Title
    • Creation date
  • Sum row - This switch activates a panel in the header that displays the sum of all attributes for which the sum operation is enabled in their properties.

In this view, the project attributes are displayed along with the projects , allowing you to see all key project information in one place. This provides ALITEO users with more efficient project management, administration and planning.

Planning

This view provides an overview of the capacities of individual users and facilitates the planning of individual tasks. Capacity planning allows project managers to manage efficiently and provides instant information about the workload of project members.

Detailed information on how capacity planning works can be found at this link.
