Who is a Company User and How Are They Created

When you register for the ALITEO application, a new company is automatically created with a name matching your user name. You can select a company (or switch between multiple companies) in the user menu by clicking on your user avatar in the top-right corner of the application. A setup wizard will help you create a new company, allowing you to easily set up workspaces and projects using pre-designed templates. If none of these templates suit your needs, you can create a basic company and then customize everything as you prefer.

You can then invite other ALITEO users to join this company. Similarly, you might also be invited to join another company as a user. All companies you are a user of will appear in this user menu.

New User

To add a new user to your company, click the "New User" button. In the pop-up window, enter the email address of the user you wish to invite.

The invited user will receive an email with an invitation to join the company. They can choose to accept or decline this invitation. If they accept, a login window will open in their default web browser, where the invited user can either log in with an existing ALITEO account or create a new one.

When creating an invitation, you can also choose between inviting a single user or sending a bulk invitation. For bulk invitations, you can enter up to 100 email addresses, each on a new line, to invite multiple users to the company at once.

When inviting one or more users, you can also define their user type settings within the company (see the "User Permissions" chapter).
