What the calendar contains

In ALITEO we can also find a calendar functionality, which should help in organizing the user's time. If the user has an available email account (Exchange/365/Gmail) and plans his time in this account, then it is a good idea to enable the synchronization of this calendar in the user settings (link to user synchronization settings). Then the external calendar will be synchronized with the ALITEO calendar and we will see all events in both calendars. In the calendar header we find several controls:

  • button "New" - with this button we can create a new event or a new meeting,
  • Navigation - use the left and right arrows to navigate to the past or the future, press the calendar icon to get to today's date. Next to these controls we find the period selection according to the currently set calendar mode,
  • Working days toggle - this toggle shows or hides weekend days,
  • Calendar mode switch - a total of 3 calendar display options are available:
    • Day - this mode displays in the middle part of the screen the agenda related to today's day and also the number of individual events that are planned in the calendar, which are meetings, events and scheduled tasks. In the small calendar on the bottom right we can see an indicative view of the events for each day of the month in the form of small colored dots - their number shows the number of events in the calendar that day,
    • Week - weekly mode displays the schedule for the current week, in which we can see the agendas of each day,
    • Month - Month mode displays the current month, divided into days.
