What is a task

Tasks are the basic building blocks of work organization in the ALITEO application. Whether it's a step toward completing your project or resolving a service request, tasks help you stay organized and efficient. Examples of task usage:

  • Internal IT requests within the company,
  • Transportation requests,
  • Processing customer inquiries.

New task

There are several ways to create a task:

  • In the task list, press the "New Task" button,
  • In projects, on the "Tasks" tab, press the "New Task" button,
  • In teams, on the Tasks tab, press the "New Task" button,
  • From a meeting item,
  • Press the button with the "Plus" sign in the lower right corner of the ALITEO application screen:
    • Classically, click on "Task" after opening the "Plus" button menu,
    • Drag a file or email to the button icon:
      • File – the file will be inserted as an attachment to the new task. You need to fill in the other fields in the task creation window (name, select location, description, etc.).
      • Email – the subject of the email will be inserted as the name of the new task, the text of the message will become the task description, and all attachments from the email will be inserted as attachments to the new task.
