Watch events module (Webhook)

The Watch events module in Make serves as a trigger for your automation scenarios. It allows you to receive data from ALITEO in real time whenever a selected event occurs (e.g., a task is created). The integration works in two steps – first, you generate a receiving URL address in Make, and then you register it in the ALITEO application.

Step 1: Creating a webhook in Make

In the module, click the Add button next to the Webhook field to display the "Create a webhook" dialog.

  • Webhook name: Enter your own name for the webhook (1–128 characters).
  • Connection: Select a pre-configured connection to ALITEO.
  • Actions: Select one or more events you want to watch (e.g., Task Created, Timesheet Changed).

Click Save. The module will subsequently generate a unique Webhook URL. Copy this address by clicking the Copy address to clipboard button.

Step 2: Setting up the webhook in ALITEO

Now you need to tell ALITEO where to send the data. In the ALITEO application, go to the webhook management section and click Add webhook.

  • Status: Leave as Active.
  • Name: Enter a name for the webhook.
  • URL Address: Paste the copied URL address from Make here.
  • Action types: Select the exact same events for which you created the webhook in Make (e.g., Task creation).
  • Scope filtering: You can further restrict the data for which the webhook should be triggered:
    • Workspaces and Projects: You can include all or only selected workspaces and projects.
    • Teams: You can include all or only selected teams.
    • Timesheets: You can toggle sending for timesheets linked directly to companies.

Click Create webhook. From now on, ALITEO will send data in the background to your Make scenario whenever the selected action occurs.
