Update a task module

The Update a task module in Make is designed for automated updating of existing tasks in ALITEO. It allows you to quickly and efficiently change the properties of tasks. After selecting the connection ("Connection" field), you will see the configuration options for editing the desired task. For instructions on how to create a connection, please refer here.

Module Setup

Here you define which task to update and which values to change. Fields left empty will remain unchanged.

• Connection: Select a pre-configured connection to ALITEO.
• Email: Required field. The email address of the user on whose behalf the update is performed.
• Task: Required field. Enter the exactly 14-character unique identifier (ID) of the task you want to update.
• Name: The new name for the task.
• Priority: Required field. Changes the urgency of the task.
• Internal Type: Required field. Changes the internal type (visibility) of the task.
• Description: The updated description of the task.
• Section: Changes the section in which the task is placed (exactly 14-character section ID).

Advanced Options

By enabling Advanced settings at the bottom, you will see additional extending options for the update.
