In the project settings, in the advanced section, we set the additional behaviour of the project and we have the following options:
- Project visibility - we define for whom the project is visible. The following options are available:
- Project members only - it is necessary to enter the user as a project member if we need him to see the project and be able to work on it,
- Company internal users - it is visible to all internal users of the company and there is no need to add these users as members of the project,
- Company's external users - the project is visible to the company's external users and there is no need to add these users as members of the project,
- All company users - the project is visible to all company users regardless of the type of user.
Note: project members are always entitled to this project regardless of the project's visibility settings.
- The right to change the due date - the due date is one of the basic pieces of information in the task. This setting tells. us whether we want the right to change this date:
- Inherit from workspace,
- All,
- Owner only,
- Anyone can suggest a different due date for owner approval
- You can add tasks - this setting generally enables or disables adding new tasks to the project,
- Default values for project members - define what default rights the newly added project member should have,
- Automatic portfolio - in this section we enable automatic portfolio assignment according to the portfolio owner's email. This is searched in the contacts of portfolios of the defined type.
- Restrict access to task creation - this feature prevents users whose email is not listed in the portfolio contacts from creating a task in the project,
- Preferably display in task and project views - this function sets whether the set portfolio type should be displayed primarily in the breadcrumb navigation.
- Registration without invitation allowed,
- Enabled task acquisition by email - we allow the possibility to enter a new task by sending an email to the displayed email address. At the same time, we define a restriction on who can create a task via email:
- Project members - only a project member can create a task in the project via email,
- Company users - only users of the company where the project is created can create a task in this project via email,
- Anonymous users - anyone can create a task in the project via email. If a task is created by a company user, the application automatically identifies them. In case of the anonymous users option, we have to define a user who will be identified as the owner of the task, even though the sender's email will be listed next to the task owner.
- Enabled task commenting by email (as a reply to the notification email) - this setting allows us to create task comments by replying to the email notification with another email,
- Stop sending emails - ALITEO will stop sending any email notifications related to this project (applies to all project components such as tasks, meetings, etc.)
