By attribute rights restriction, we mean the ability to set the internal and external user's right to the attribute.
For shared attributes, we can set the following rights:
- External user's rights for attribute - this right contains 2 options:
- Hide - the attribute is not displayed to the external user,
- View - the attribute is displayed to the external user, but they are not able to change it.
For other types of attributes we have the following rights available:
- Internal user's rights for attribute - this right contains 3 options:
- Hide - the attribute is not displayed to the internal user,
- View - the attribute is displayed to the internal user, but they are not able to change it,
- Edit - the internal user sees the attribute and has the possibility to edit it at the same time.
- External user's rights for attribute - this right contains 3 options:
- Hide - the attribute is not displayed to the external user,
- View - the attribute is displayed to the external user, but they are not able to change it,
- Edit - the external user sees the attribute and has the possibility to edit it at the same time.
If an attribute is created in the project based on a shared attribute, the rights restriction settings in the project take precedence over the rights settings of the shared attribute.
