The Add task<\/b> module within the Make platform is designed to automate the creation of tasks<\/b>. It enables you to quickly and efficiently create tasks within your projects or teams. After selecting the Connection<\/b> (the \"Connection\" field) and setting the user<\/b> (the \"Email\" field), the following configuration options, which are key to correctly creating the task, will become available to you. The procedure for creating a connection can be found here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Location Settings<\/h3>\n

This section defines where<\/b> the new task will be placed within your ALITEO company structure.<\/p>\n

  • Task destination:<\/b> Defines the primary destination of the task (Project\/Team<\/b>).<\/li>\n
  • Workspace:<\/b> Specifies the workspace<\/b> where the project is located.<\/li>\n
  • Project:<\/b> The choice of the specific project<\/b> where the task should be assigned.<\/li>\n
  • Section:<\/b> A specific section<\/b> within the project where the task should be placed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Task Properties<\/h3>\n

    Here you define the basic characteristics of the task.<\/p>\n

    • Name:<\/b> A mandatory<\/b> field used to name the task.<\/li>\n
    • Priority:<\/b> Defines the urgency<\/b> of the task, which is key for proper planning.<\/li>\n
    • Internal Type:<\/b> Determines the type<\/b> or visibility<\/b> of the task within the system.<\/li>\n
    • Description:<\/b> A detailed description of the task and its objectives.<\/li>\n
    • Enter attributes:<\/b> Allows you to select how you will input the attributes for project\/team tasks.<\/li>\n
    • Attributes:<\/b> Select specific attributes from a list, or enter the identifier of a project\/team task attribute and set its value.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Advanced Options<\/h3>\n

      Selecting the Advanced options<\/strong> in the lower-left corner of the module's settings dialog will display the advanced options for setting task properties.<\/p>\n

      • Email Owner:<\/b> The task owner's email address. It can be used to simulate a task submission by an anonymous user via email.<\/li>\n
      • Solvers:<\/b> Allows you to add a list of solvers<\/b> responsible for completing the task. Use \u201cAdd item\u201d<\/b> to add individual people.<\/li>\n
      • Start Date:<\/b> The date when the task is planned to start<\/b>.<\/li>\n
      • Due Date:<\/b> The deadline<\/b> for completing the task.<\/li>\n
      • Created Date:<\/b> The date and time when the task was originally created<\/b> (e.g., during data migration).\n

        • Note:<\/i> The time zone Europe\/Prague<\/b> applies to dates and times. Supported formats can be found in the online help.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
        • Done:<\/b> Determines the solution stage<\/b> the task should be in. It is selected from predefined options (e.g., OwnerReaction<\/i>).<\/li>\n
        • Master:<\/b> If provided, the new task will be created as a subtask<\/b> of the specified master\/parent task.<\/li>\n
        • Phase:<\/b> The unique ID of the task status<\/b>. Task statuses can be defined in the workspace settings.<\/li>\n
        • Comments:<\/b> Allows you to add a list of comments<\/b> to the task. Use \u201cAdd item\u201d<\/b> to add individual comments.<\/li>\n
