They can be created either automatically (by copying them from a meeting series to its instance) or manually.<\/p>\n<p>Before the agenda items themselves, you can add a general meeting description or introduction in the header, and a conclusion in the footer. To save space, you can enable a <b>compact view mode<\/b> that reduces the text to basic information only. You can also select agenda items in bulk, move them to another meeting, or delete them.<\/p>\n<h3>Creating a New Meeting Agenda Item<\/h3>\n<p>You create a new item by clicking the <b>\"Add Meeting Agenda Item\"<\/b> button, which brings up a dialog box. We distinguish between two types of meeting agenda items:<\/p>\n<ol start=\"1\">\n<li><b>Simple<\/b>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Meeting Agenda Item Name<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>Meeting Agenda Item Description<\/b> \u2013 Describes what will be discussed during the meeting.<\/li>\n<li><b>Duration<\/b> \u2013 The estimated time for the agenda item, which is included in the total meeting duration in the header.<\/li>\n<li><b>Owner<\/b> \u2013 The participant who created the item.<\/li>\n<li><b>Presenters<\/b> \u2013 The participants whom the agenda item concerns and who should prepare for it. They will be notified automatically.<\/li>\n<li><b>Attachments<\/b> \u2013 The option to add any attachment you need for the agenda item.<\/li>\n<li>A simple meeting agenda item can also be created by dragging a note from the right panel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><b>Linked to a Task<\/b>\n<ul>\n<li>This type connects the agenda item to a specific task. In the task's detail view, a link to the meeting will be created in the <b>\"Calendar\"<\/b> tab.<\/li>\n<li>The rest of the settings are identical to the simple agenda item.<\/li>\n<li>An item linked to a task can also be created by dragging a task from the right panel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3>Editing a Meeting Agenda Item<\/h3>\n<p>To edit an existing meeting agenda item, simply click on it. A dialog box will appear, similar to the creation window, but with the following additions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Navigating between agenda items<\/b> \u2013 In the dialog header, you can use the arrows to browse between the individual items.<\/li>\n<li><b>Additional options<\/b> \u2013 In the footer of the window, you will find options to <b>Move<\/b> the item to another meeting or <b>Delete<\/b> it.<\/li>\n<li><b>Notes<\/b> \u2013 If the meeting is in an <b>\"In Progress\"<\/b> state, a \"Notes\" field will appear in the window where you can record agreements and conclusions reached during the meeting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Meeting agenda items are a key tool for properly structuring and running your meetings.
