{"id":2555,"date":"2023-06-26T10:42:50","date_gmt":"2023-06-26T10:42:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/help.aliteo.com\/?p=2555"},"modified":"2025-07-27T10:54:11","modified_gmt":"2025-07-27T10:54:11","slug":"general-team-settings","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/help.aliteo.com\/en\/general-team-settings\/","title":{"rendered":"General team settings"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>You can access the team settings <b>immediately after creating the team<\/b>, or by clicking on the <b>gear icon<\/b> in the team details if you are the team administrator.<\/p>\n<p>On the <b>General<\/b> tab you will find basic information and team settings such as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Name<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>Description<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>Team Manager<\/b> - This is the user who created the team. You can then change the manager to another team member. The team manager automatically has all permissions.<\/li>\n<li><b>\"Allow to create new task<\/b>\" <b>switch<\/b> - This switch sets whether team members can create new tasks within the team.<\/li>\n<li><b>Default Display<\/b> - This setting determines which part of the team is displayed when you first enter it.<\/li>\n<li><b>Team Template<\/b> - This button brings up a dialog box to create a team template.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Team templates<\/h2>\n<p>When creating a <b>team template<\/b>, you need to choose a <b>name<\/b> and use the available checkboxes to select which <b>records<\/b> (e.g. settings, bookmarks) should be saved in the template. Once saved, you can edit the template in the <b>workspace settings<\/b>, on the <b>\"Team templates\"<\/b> tab. You will use the template when <b>creating a new team<\/b> (not a project as originally stated); after selecting the workspace, you will be presented with the saved templates.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>You can access the team settings immediately after creating the team, or by clicking on the gear icon in the team details if you are the team administrator.
