{"id":2542,"date":"2023-06-26T09:56:42","date_gmt":"2023-06-26T09:56:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/help.aliteo.com\/?p=2542"},"modified":"2025-07-31T17:45:46","modified_gmt":"2025-07-31T17:45:46","slug":"projects-overview","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/help.aliteo.com\/en\/projects-overview\/","title":{"rendered":"Projects overview"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"model-response-message-contentr_49297aed2797e9d1\" class=\"markdown markdown-main-panel stronger enable-updated-hr-color\" dir=\"ltr\">\n<p>ALITEO offers three different views for project management:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>List<\/b> - Projects are displayed as preview cards.<\/li>\n<li><b>Gantt<\/b> - Projects are displayed on a timeline.<\/li>\n<li><b>Planning<\/b> - Projects and their tasks are visualized on the timeline.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>List<\/h3>\n<p>In the <b>List<\/b> view, individual projects are presented as <b>preview cards<\/b>, each containing basic information:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Logo<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>Navigation<\/b> - Provides detailed information about where the project was created (company, workspace).<\/li>\n<li><b>Project name<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>Users<\/b> - Two groups of users are listed here:\n<ul>\n<li><b>Project Administrators<\/b> - Located to the left of the vertical, gray dividing line.<\/li>\n<li><b>Project Members<\/b> - Located to the right of the vertical, gray dividing line.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><b>Project Information<\/b> - Displays the current status and details of the project:\n<ul>\n<li><b>Active Tasks<\/b> - Tasks that are not archived, closed, or canceled.<\/li>\n<li><b>Tasks to Respond<\/b> - Tasks waiting for a project response.<\/li>\n<li><b>SLA<\/b> - Information about whether there is an active SLA on the project.<\/li>\n<li><b>Chat<\/b> - A button to open the project chat.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Gantt<\/h3>\n<p>The <b>Gantt<\/b> view allows you to visualize projects as they are scheduled over time, i.e. by their start date and completion date.<\/p>\n<p>If a project does not have defined dates, you can set them by clicking into the schedule. You can then use <b>drag and drop<\/b> to move projects in time, or edit individual dates by grabbing the start or end of the displayed rectangle.<\/p>\n<p>In the top right corner of both the <b>List<\/b> and <b>Gantt<\/b> views, additional tools are available to customize the project overview view:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Search<\/b> - Search window for full-text search in project title or description.<\/li>\n<li><b>Sorting<\/b> - Use this option to sort projects by:\n<ul>\n<li><b>Title<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>Creation date<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><b>Sum row<\/b> - This switch activates a panel in the header that displays the sum of all attributes for which the sum operation is enabled in their properties.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In this view, the project <b>attributes<\/b> are displayed along with the projects , allowing you to see all key project information in one place. This provides ALITEO users with more efficient project management, administration and planning.<\/p>\n<h3>Planning<\/h3>\n<p>This view provides an overview of the <b>capacities of individual users<\/b> and facilitates the planning of individual tasks.
