The subteam<\/b> is seen as a separate part of the project<\/b>, which needs its own space to function. By this space we mean its own meetings, tasks to respond to, and essentially a separate project team<\/b>, which is a subset of the main project team.<\/p>\n

You define subteam members in the same way as project members<\/b>. Setting up a subteam is identical to setting up regular teams<\/b>, with one exception: a subteam cannot have its own \"Subteams\"<\/b> tab, i.e. it cannot contain additional subteams.<\/p>\n

Permissions and approval<\/h3>\n

Only a user who is the administrator of the team being attached<\/b> and has access to the project can attach a team as a sub-team of a project.<\/p>\n

  • If you are the administrator of both the team and the project, the sub-team is attached immediately<\/b>.<\/li>\n
  • If you are the administrator of the team but not the administrator of the project, you can only propose<\/b> the attachment. The proposal will be sent to the project administrator, and the sub-team will become part of the project only after it is approved.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
