{"id":2475,"date":"2023-05-25T12:54:08","date_gmt":"2023-05-25T12:54:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/help.aliteo.com\/?p=2475"},"modified":"2025-07-31T17:29:16","modified_gmt":"2025-07-31T17:29:16","slug":"basic-project-settings","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/help.aliteo.com\/en\/basic-project-settings\/","title":{"rendered":"Basic project settings"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Under the \"General\" tab you will find basic information about the project:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Logo<\/strong> - the logo makes it easier to recognize projects in ALITEO records.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Project name<\/strong> - short name of the project.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Project description<\/strong> - more information about the project, available on the \"<strong>About<\/strong>\" tab.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Project manager<\/strong> - can be replaced by any internal project member.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Project initiation and completion<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Project status<\/strong> - A project can be in one of the following statuses, which provide more detailed information about their operation in the application:\n<ul>\n<li>Planned,<\/li>\n<li>In progress,<\/li>\n<li>Completed,<\/li>\n<li>Cancelled,<\/li>\n<li>Suspended.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Deadline risk<\/strong> - A switch that can be turned on to identify a deadline problem on a project.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Quality risk<\/strong> - A switch that, when turned on, identifies a quality problem on the project.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Default view<\/strong> - Tells what part of the project to display to a user who opens its detail.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Project template<\/strong> - see below<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Project template<\/h3>\n<p>When creating a project template, you need to select a name and use the available checkboxes to select the data to be saved in the template. Once saved, you can edit the template in the workspace settings, under the \"<strong>Project templates<\/strong>\" tab.
