In addition to the quick filters, which, as the name suggests, quickly customize the displayed reports in the list, you can also define sophisticated views that the quick filters are short on precision filtering. The predefined filters available in the application are always at the top of the left panel, namely:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>My today<\/strong>,<\/li>\n<li><strong>My yesterday<\/strong>,<\/li>\n<li><strong>My this week<\/strong>,<\/li>\n<li><strong>My last week<\/strong>,<\/li>\n<li><strong>Mine this month<\/strong>,<\/li>\n<li><strong>My last month<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>User-defined views are divided into 2 main categories:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>My<\/strong> - these are user defined views that only the user can see.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Company<\/strong> - these are admin-defined views that are stored in the company and, depending on the settings, can be seen by other members of the company. The following types of views can be stored in the company:\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Internal users only<\/strong>,<\/li>\n<li><strong>Internal and external users<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>New view<\/h2>\n<p>Create a new view by pressing the \"New View\" button. The following options are available in the displayed dialog box:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Company<\/strong> - define the company for which you want to display the reports. The option of all companies is also available, but this will limit the menu for further settings. Only options that are standard in all companies are available in the menu.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Task area<\/strong> - define what type of job reports we are interested in:\n<ul>\n<li><strong>All<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Team <\/strong>- these are job reports created over a team.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Project<\/strong>- these are job reports created over a project.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>For this type of timesheets you can then select from the available workspaces.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Timesheet name<\/strong> - here you can enter a string that will be searched in the timesheet name.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Owner<\/strong> - work reports whose owner is me or a specific selected user will be filtered.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Conditions<\/strong> - you can create a combination of multiple conditions that further specify specific job reports. Both standard labor report data and company- or workspace-specific data are available.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Period<\/strong> - this is the time period in which the labour statement date falls, i.e. the day to which the labour statement relates. <strong>It is not<\/strong> the date the statement was created.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Saved views<\/h2>\n<p>Use the \"Apply view\" to apply the view you have defined. The applied view will be displayed in the left panel at the top. To reuse a view, you can save it using \"Save View\" and specify a name to distinguish it from the others, for example by a short concise description of its output. Once saved, the view is automatically activated, you can cancel it using the \"X\" icon in its upper right corner.<\/p>\n<p>Based on the permissions and view definitions, we can save the view as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>My view<\/strong> - this view is only available to the user who created it.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Company view - internal users only<\/strong> - this view is only available to internal users of the company. Only the company administrator can store this view on the company.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Company view - internal and external users<\/strong> - the view is available to both internal and external users of the company. Only the company administrator can store this view on the company.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You can use some saved views stably, others only sporadically. To keep your infrequently used views from getting mixed up with the busier ones, select your favourites using the star icon next to the view.<\/p>\n<p>Views can then be deleted in <a href=\"https:\/\/help.aliteo.com\/en\/user-menu\/\">your settings<\/a> if it is a private view, or in the company settings if it is a shared view within the company.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>To filter timesheets, use the filters in the left panel of the \"Timesheets\" evidence.
